Massage is a
non-traditional method
of healing with the application of the therapeutic physical touch of the human hands to  help heal, relax and restore the effects of the body systems with the manipulation of your soft muscle tissues of the body.

Massage is natural instinct of the human body.  The act of rubbing can bind a joint that is too loose and loosen a joint that is too tight. Hippocrates-Father of Medicine

"You may be walking on the solutions to many of your health problems"

"Life itself remains a very effective therapist"

"Massage itself doesn't actually "cure" the condition; it simply helps restore the body's self
healing ability"

Types of Massages
Swedish-relaxation massage
     using the application of oils,
     your body will be addressed
     throughout to help alleviate
     acute pain, stress & tension.
Deep Tissue-this massage is
     given with the application of
     oil throughout the whole
     body.  It is a powerful,
     restoring approach to the
     body and is sometimes
     known to be painful with
     tremendous benefits. It will
     help relieve headaches,
stiff neck, back pain, pain in
     forearms & legs, and also
     can be associated as a
     diagnosed treatment plan.
Myofascial-is a very slow
     massage that helps release
     emotional tension. .  Oil is
     used throughout the whole
     body.  Having to tight of
     fascia can put alot of
     pressure on the muscles in
     your body...causing pain
     throughout your body.
Shiatsu-a Japanese form of
     massage used to balance all
     body systems.  You stay
dressed in loose clothing & it
takes place on the floor.  It's
     a mixture of massage and
     range of motion exercises
     causing the muscles to
     massage themselves.
Localized Massage-massage
     that specializes to  a specific
     area...such as, carpal
     tunnel, whiplash, headache,
     back pain, etc.
Stone-same technique as
     Swedish Massage with the
     use of hot/cold relaxing
     stones due to the temperature
     change held by the therapist
     during the massage.
Aroma Therapy-massage with
use of essential oils mixed to
     your desire and applied to
     different parts of your body.
     Some people get aroma
     therapy wraps in which your
     body is oiled down and
wrapped up in warm towels for
     20-30 minutes.  This massage
     can help with headaches,
     stomach and sinus problems.
Pre-Post Natal-Pregnancy
massage is a technique that is
used to help the mother relax
and not have as much pulling
     from the child throughout the
     whole pregnancy and after the
birth of the baby due to the
     constant changing of the
     muscles.
Trigger Point-can sometimes be a
     painful massage due to the
     trigger point pattern of the
     direct pressure applied to the
     problematic areas throughout
     the whole body.
